    Barbara DiLorenzo

    Barbara DiLorenzo graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in illustration and studied painting at the Arts Students League of New York. She is the author-illustrator of Renato the Lion (Viking/Penguin Random House), which was chosen as a Junior Library Guild Selection, and Quincy (Little Bee Books), a Crystal Kite Award Finalist.

    When she isn’t working on books, Barbara teaches traditional and digital media at the Arts Council of Princeton and is a course advisor in graphic design and creative writing at the New York Institute of Art and Design. In addition to being a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society, she is the co-president of the Children’s Book Illustrators Group of New York (CBIG). She is represented by Rachel Orr of the Prospect Agency.

About Our Mentor Program

We believe it’s crucial to be an online school that gives you access to a professional UX designer who will act as your teacher and mentor.

You will benefit from a personal relationship just like you would get in the classroom. Our mentors are there to answer your questions via phone or email at every turn.

In addition, you will submit projects throughout the course which will be evaluated by your teacher. They are there to help you improve as you master the craft.
